A dessert that everyone will adore! A simple and satisfying keto friendly option. Our own chef has turned an old fashioned (and normally sugar filled) sweet treat that we CAN indulge in while staying on the keto diet! A few ingredients is all that is required to have a spoonful of heaven!
Kitchen tools necessary for this recipe: blender Hamilton Beach Power Elite Multi-Function Blender with Glass Jar (58148A) fun serving glasses or mason jars work well too!
8 oz heavy cream
4 oz half and half
1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla extract
5 packets of Splenda
1 pinch of salt
Step 1 - Bring the whipped cream to a boil.
Step 2 - Once cream is boiling remove from heat.
Step 3 - Pour cream into blender. Add cocoa and Splenda and place lid on blender. Start on a low setting and then increase until all is combined well.
Step 4 - Add the egg into the blender while mixture is still blending. Blend for a about minute.
Step 5 - Pour the hot mousse into serving glasses (martini glasses are fun!) and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
Serve and enjoy!
